BLUE BOOK 2025

The Italian water sector is constantly evolving, showing steady improvements in both management structure and service quality. The Blue Book 2025 offers its annual snapshot of the industry, analyzing the latest developments in governance, regulation, investment, and service standards.

This edition also takes a deeper look at some of the most pressing challenges ahead: the impacts of climate change, demographic trends, and the quality of water resources.

The fifteenth edition was produced in collaboration with Istat, ENEA, the CNR Institute of Bioeconomy, the Italian National Institute of Health, and the seven River Basin District Authorities.
